How to set up Telegram notifications?

To ensure you do not miss out on important notifications like new trade requests and trade messages, you can set up Telegram notifications. Once set up, you will receive a message from the LocalCoinSwap Telegram bot each time you have a new notification.

These messages will come through like any other Telegram message and you may mute or remove it at any time. Furthermore, Telegram notifications are often more reliable than SMS notifications in some regions so they make a good alternative or backup option to ensure you are receiving important notifications.

Follow these steps to set up Telegram notifications:

1. Log in to your LoacalCoinSwap account and navigate to the settings page.
2. Click the Telegram Notifications section and then click Activate:
   
   
3. You will now be prompted to navigate to Telegram. Open the Telegram app from here (or the browser version if that is what you use):
   
4. In Telegram, click the Start button or type /start:
