I forgot my password, can I reset it?

If you have forgotten your account password, there is no way for us to help recover it. This is due to the way that your account is secured with client-side encryption. These are the same technical properties that prevent us from accessing the funds in any of your non-custodial wallets.

It is important to keep your password safe and to never share it with anyone else. If someone gains access to your account, any crypto transferred to your LocalCoinSwap wallets could be stolen in the future, even if you change your password as your private keys may have been exported.

Keep trying to remember your latest account password and ensure you do not have caps lock on. If you still can't remember, you might be better off creating a new account and starting fresh.
