We will be delisting binance coin (BNB) from the LocalCoinSwap platform on Monday, July 29, 2019.
Why are we making this change?
At this stage, there is currently very little demand to trade with BNB tokens peer-to-peer and with BNB moving to its own blockchain, we would be spending unnecessary time/developer resources to support the new chain. For this reason, in the short-term, we will be delisting BNB from the LocalCoinSwap P2P marketplace.
Anyone who still wants to purchase BNB tokens using our vast array of 250+ different fiat payment methods can do so by first purchasing bitcoin (BTC) or ethereum (ETH) on LocalCoinSwap and using those tokens to purchase binance coin (BNB) on another platform.
How does this affect me?
If you have BNB tokens stored in your LocalCoinSwap platform wallet, you have two weeks to withdraw your BNB tokens to an external wallet. If you are not able to withdraw within the week period, please open a support ticket and speak to our customer service team who will be able to assist.
